Our mCMM business unit is working on the next generation of multi-sensory coordinate measuring machines – with direct influence on products, technologies and processes of the entire organization. For a new innovation and transformation project, we are looking for an experienced technical project management that sets up complex technical programs, structured, pre-driven and successfully and sustainably brings them into implementation.

Your role You are responsible for building and implementing a new strategic innovation project for the next generation of measurement technology in our mCMM business unit – with the clear perspective of converting it into a multi-year, scalable program and into series.

As a key role directly suspended under the Business Unit Manager, you act across all development disciplines (electronics, system development, sensor development) and thus shape the orientation of future product generations.

Technical overall responsibility for the innovation project: derivation and coordination of system and product requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and integration into existing system landscapes and processes with regard to market relevance, performance, cost, modularity and extendability issues.

building, leadership and further development of a powerful, interdisciplinary project team; Coaching of project managers:inside and expert:inside and ensuring a performance-oriented, collaborative work culture.

Active interface role for management and global stakeholders: decision templates and business cases, risk and chance assessment, stakeholder management and ensuring transparency about status, impact and achievement.

You are responsible for the standard scale of the innovation project to the marketable platform in close cooperation with operations, sales and service

Complete technical studies of electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, systems engineering or comparable

Multiannual experience in CMM sensor technology, precision engineering/high-precision engineering, optics, electronics as well as data flows, algorithms and software architectures, including several years in responsibility as a technical project/program manager of multi-disciplinary projects

Experience in the lateral/disciplinary guidance of transformation or change projects across multiple areas/function lines

Embossed skills in moderation, workshop design and constructive conflict resolution

Excellent communication skills to understand technical content at management level, prepare decisions and convince different stakeholders

Structured, analytical and solution-oriented operation with clear result orientation

Very good knowledge of English; German knowledge is advantageous, but no need
