The school office is composed of the areas of school administration, school supervision and inclusion, school IT and media development planning as well as local coordination and education and comprises around 70 employees.

You take over the strategic leadership and further development of the school office and bear responsibility for the quality, organisation and sustainability of the school administration You lead and promote an experienced, highly motivated team that supports you with expertise, commitment and loyalty You actively shape the school policy objectives of the circle and bring your expertise into school development planning, school organization and other school topics. You coordinate and accompany projects, initiatives and disciplines and represent the school office in relevant control and decision-making bodies You act as a binding interface between administration, schools, politics and the state of NRW and represent the concerns of the school office in the public and in specialised bodies You are driving forward the modernization of school administration with pragmatism and design knowledge - even where digital structures can still grow

Qualification for the group of members of the second board of directors of category 2 of the general administrative service; or Compensation for the group of seniors of the first boarding staff of category 2 of the general administrative service with the conditions laid down in § 25 LVO NRW and the willingness to complete the modular qualification or Compensation for the group of seniors of the 2nd entry of the group 2 of subjects social work or social and educational sciences, or Qualification for the equivalent group of 1. Entrepreneurship of the category 2 of the subjects social work or social and educational sciences with the conditions according to § 25 LVO NRW and the willingness to complete the modular qualification or Legal qualification (second Jur. Staatsexamens degree) or a successfully completed relevant academic degree (Diplom-Universität, Magister or Master) in a relevant field and long-term leadership and professional experience of at least 3 years (ideally in a public administration). Ideally, you will also bring project experience as well as experience in the handling of funding and convince with pronounced communication strength as well as team capacity with pronounced interdisciplinary and intercultural thinking.
