Senior Expert Accounting Principles & External Reporting (m/f/d)

Ensuring the quality and compliance of financial reporting according to IFRS and HGB as well as developing and implementing relevant controls including the creation of technical accounting memoranda Responsibility for ensuring the IFRS compliance of Group Financial Reporting, creating precise and timely monthly consolidated financial reports and optimising reporting by using and developing financial reporting software, such as Disclosure Management Tool Participation in special projects, IT implementations and harmonisation of accounting processes and monitoring the application of relevant standards in complex projects, such as IFRS 15 in shipbuilding Take responsibility for ensuring compliance and implementation of capital market requirements in a listed environment. Consultation and support of business units in accounting-related questions and contact persons:in the context of the (concern) audit

Graduate degree with a focus on accounting, audit or finance as well as several years of professional experience, preferably in a comparable function in the group accounting system of a listed company or in an audit firm Comprehensive knowledge in the application of IFRS and HGB as well as experience in the implementation and optimization of IFRS processes and governance; deepened special knowledge in at least two complex accounting areas, such as lease accounting, impairment testing, Revenue Recognition Embossed independent and structured way of working, analytical thinking and enforcement Very good communication skills in German and English as well as secure user knowledge in financial reporting software, ERP systems and MS office packages Ability to clearly convey specialist content and to act as a contact person: for internal and external stakeholders
