For this, we also rely internally on strategically strong teams that evolve as a funding institution – and now you come: Become part of our IT area as IT Workplace Manager (m/w/d) As IT Workplace Manager, you are responsible for the stable, secure and efficient operation of our IT workstation environment from virtual to physical components. At the same time, you are actively driving forward the further development of end-user IT and shaping the workplace of the future.

You act as a technical controller (m/w/d), Service Owner (m/w/d) and Sparringspartner (m/w/d) for departments, IT teams and external partners.

Ensuring the operational stability of IT Workplace Services (virtual and physical) including active control of incident, change and problem processes Professional control of external service providers along defined service levels and ensuring quality and transparency Responsibility for patch, release and software distributions in interaction with providers Technical contact for workplace-close applications, collaboration in 1st– 3rd-level support and acquisition of (part-)service ownership by ITIL Further development of end-user IT based on monitoring and reporting data as well as cooperation in projects and organization of hardware exchange cycles

A completed IT degree or comparable training Experience in the operation and control of IT workplace environments and a good understanding of ITSM processes (e.g. Incident, Change, Problem, Ideally ITIL) Technical know-how about modern workplace infrastructures, combined with the focus on stable services and satisfied end users (m/w/d) A structured, independent way of working, combined with clear prioritization, pronounced service orientation and sovereign communication in exchange with specialist departments, IT teams and external partners
