Head of System Management (m/f/d)

In this key position, you have strategic and operational overall responsibility for the design, planning, operational management and safety of the energy networks. You run six highly specialized teams with now 66 employees and ensure that Thuringia is supplied with energy safely, digitally and in the future, and that the stability of the electricity and gas networks is guaranteed. You drive forward the digital transformation of the networks, employ modern technologies and make the energy networks under your responsibility more intelligent, resilient and efficient. Their responsibility ranges from the strategic development of the network management to the real-time control in the 24/7 board, to cooperation with authorities, partners and operators in order to act quickly and decisively. You optimise processes, systems and safety standards and ensure that the energy networks operated by the TENs are able to meet the requirements of the future.

As an experienced manager with completed studies (electrotechnics, energy technology or comparable) you have several years of experience in network operation or in network control and are well familiar with control center technology, SCADA architectures, IT systems and the legal framework of the energy industry. Knowledge of high-voltage, medium-voltage and low-voltage networks as well as experience in handling KRITIS requirements and information security complete your professional profile. Their personal strengths lie in strategic thinking and the ability to keep a cool head even in critical situations. You lead teams with vision and motivation. You work closely with internal TEAG partners, external service providers, specialist bodies and authorities. .
