Legal Specialist for Regulation & Policy (f|m|d)

As a legal specialist for Regulation & Policy, you are our central contact person for all relevant issues in the operational operation. You work closely with the Compliance Department and make sure we are up to date at any time. With your know-how, you not only support the development of our processes, but also ensure that our documentation remains reliable, up-to-date and legally secure. In your role, you take care and further development of our Operations Manual (Parts A to D) and make sure that all content meets the applicable aviation requirements. Responsibility for air compliance - You support the creation and updating of all other aviation documents (e.g. checklists) and coordinates permits such as landing space releases. You work closely with internal departments and external authorities such as the Federal Aviation Office. In addition, you support the flight manager in compliance with and ensuring compliance with air law and are in close contact with our compliance and safety department. Monitoring regulatory adjustments - You accompany the implementation and documentation of MEL changes and regularly check the AFM as well as other flight-based documentation on topicality. You monitor current adaptations of flight-related regulation as well as EASA rulemaking processes and advise the flight management regarding internal implementation and adjustments. In addition, you develop new procedures as well as airborne training for flight operations and are contact persons for all airborne issues. Representation of legal interests of the company - You represent the legal interests of the company from an aeronautical point of view, are contact persons for air law issues and accompany negotiations with external partners. You examine or uncover contracts and documents and develop draft proposals for the legal implementation of projects.

The theory sits – you have successfully completed your studies in law and have the first state exam. Ideally, you also bring the qualification as a full lawyer, i.e. the first and second state exams. Professional experience – Remarkable is a multi-year professional experience that you have already collected in a firm or in an economic company. In addition, you are interested in economic and technical relationships. Know-How – Ideally, you already have experience in dealing with air travel-specific rules such as the EASA regulations, the Air Transport Act (LuftVG) or the Air Transport Order (LuftBO). In addition, knowledge in the field of VCA (VTOL-enabled aircraft) or eVTOL is advantageous.
