Our manufacturing team manufactures box spring beds, upholstered beds, mattresses and toppers. There are many accessories from neck and decoration cushions, plate and upholstery bench to lighting concepts. We attach particular importance to the processing quality “Made in Germany”. As a strategic buyer, you are responsible for the group of goods assigned to you in the field of direct production material (e.g. frames, foams, upholstered materials, commercial goods and care extended factory benches) and develop cross-site shopping and product group strategies. You control all strategic purchasing activities – from demand consolidation to tenders and offer comparisons to price, contract and contract negotiations. Based on purchasing volumes, cost structures and procurement risks, you identify savings potentials and implement sustainable optimization measures successfully. Through the continuous monitoring and analysis of national and international procurement markets, you develop alternative sources of supply and develop our sourcing strategies consistently. The strategic selection, qualification and evaluation of suppliers is part of your responsibility as well as the establishment and further development of a powerful supplier portfolio – together with the areas of quality, development and production. You harmonize specifications and standards across the site and actively contribute your expertise to the further development of your product group. Together with adjacent departments, you work on projects such as product new developments, value engineering or standardization initiatives and contribute to the continuous optimization of our purchasing processes. Your area of responsibility is rounded off by the maintenance of purchase-relevant master data, conditions and contracts in the SAP system as well as the creation of meaningful analyses and decision templates for management.

You have a successful degree in the field of business management, economic engineering or a comparable commercial or technical qualification. You bring multi-year professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the industrial environment or in the upholstered furniture or supply industry. You have profound experience in product group management as well as in the development and implementation of shopping and sourcing strategies. You convince by negotiation skills, a safe occurrence and an analytical and strategic way of thinking. You have experience in supplier management and are confident in price, contract and contract negotiations – also in the international environment. You work independently, structured and solution-oriented and at the same time bring joy to cross-departmental cooperation. You have very good ERP/SAP and MS Office skills, especially when dealing with Excel. You will certainly communicate in German and English in word and writing and bring the willingness to occasional national and international missions.
