The customer is a globally operating company with a location in Wetzlar, specializing in the development and production of machine and component construction.

As Finance Business Partner (m/w/d), you are the driving force behind the financial figures and play a key role in managing and optimizing business processes. With a sharp look, you analyze budgets, forecasts and target-actual comparisons and provide management and specialist departments with key insights that pave the way for strategic decisions. Budget planning and controlling: creation and monitoring of the budget, analysis of plan/actual deviations at cost center level and coordination with specialist departments. Costing & Offer Management: Support for the creation of a quote in accordance with Group guidelines, ongoing monitoring of the calculation and the creation of subsequent calculations. Final work & Business planning: Participation in quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and support in annual and medium-term business planning. Cost calculation: preparation, monitoring and regular updating of the operating billing sheet (BAB). Stock assessment & provisions: Assessment of stocks and adjustment of provisions in compliance with the corporate guidelines. Liquidity management: Planning and management of liquidity and active support for debt management. Analyses & Reporting: Creating meaningful analyses, ad hoc evaluations and monthly reports. Process optimization: System-side improvement of reporting and implementation of new solutions in the company.

Successfully completed commercial training, economic studies or comparable qualification with controlling affinity. Found experience in cost and performance accounting, balance sheets and project management. At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling a manufacturing company, ideally in mechanical engineering. IT and number affinity with safe handling in MS-Office (especially Excel); Knowledge of diamond / ISAH of advantage. Analytical and conceptual thinking capability, high detail accuracy and rapid understanding. Embossed initiative, communication strength and team capacity. Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing.
