As Application Engineer (w/m/d) Flight Operations, you play a crucial role in keeping our IT landscape fit for the daily use of ADAC air rescue. For the smooth running, the further development and security of our specialist applications, you support the crews who save lives every day. Operation and development of flight-related applications - You are responsible for the implementation and stable operation of area-specific applications for flight operations. You ensure that applications reliably meet economic, technical and organizational requirements. You ensure a consistent and secure application operation. Ensuring service quality - You continuously monitor the applications and ensure compliance with the agreed service level agreements. You recognize deviations early and take appropriate measures. The aim is a highly available and trouble-free operation in the daily business. Further development of applications - You can maintain, care and continuously develop existing applications. You implement new applications and processes and accompany them to productive operation. Responsibility for processes, quality and technical control - You control workflows, ensure quality standards and optimierst processes. As a technical entity, you represent strategic topics with relevance for the entire company. You are the contact person for the coordination and cooperation with our demand management as well as with stakeholders from flight operations to analyze requirements and to accompany change and introduction processes. In addition, you identify optimization potentials and define standards for the sustainable development of the application landscape.

The theory sits – you have a completed training in the IT field (e.g. specialist in system integration) or a completed study of (economic) informatics or a comparable area. Professional experience – You have several years of experience with flying applications and ideally knowledge of Fleetplan or comparable systems. Kow-How - You bring a high IT affinity as well as a safe handling of web-based applications and Office-365 tools. You have excellent knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and very good knowledge of English. What completes your profile – you work independently and reliably on business-critical applications, bringing team spirit, high service orientation and enthusiasm for new technologies. You understand technical requirements, implement them in a structured manner and convince them by analytical skills, self-motivation and communication and stakeholder strength.
