Technically, you are responsible for all topics relating to overseas processing. You ensure smooth operations in day-to-day operations and strengthen the reputation of your team as an internal Competence Center overseas processing. In the operational day-to-day business, you process import and export shipments from Rosenberg as well as selected branches and book containers for overseas forwarding according to JRS selection. In addition, you buy freight rates for less heavily frequented lanes on the spot market and conduct bi-annual freight alerts. You examine invoices and agree internally with all involved specialist departments (production planning and work preparation, purchasing, sales, financial accounting and IT, branches and overseas offices). In your role, you are responsible for the strategic development of performance, service and communication. At the same time, you will introduce your own ideas and process-improving measures. Last but not least, you can use key figures to control and optimize service and cost efficiency.
