On our path of transformation towards climate neutrality, you take strategic responsibility for the development, preservation of value and transformation of the heat-connected systems in the Ruhr region. Your core tasks/responsibilities are: Identification and initiation of appropriate projects to increase the value and maintain the value of the assigned assets towards a decarbonised energy production taking into account economic viability, regulatory requirements and sales/operational requirements in accordance with the corporate strategy Development of long-term transformation and decarbonization strategies for the composite systems Coordination of investment decisions and prioritisation of portfolio actions medium and long-term investment planning, initiation of investment and monitoring Follow-up of existing and start-up and conclusion of new essential asset contracts (especially heat contracts, lease and lease contracts) Accompanying essential asset projects from concept development to commissioning As an expert, you are the first respondent for the associated assets as well as for other subject-specific topics.

You have gained a thorough understanding of the energy industry and of district heating systems and production facilities as part of your previous professional experience. You enjoy working in the team and you know that your distinctive communication skills are excellent.
